The Women’s Facebook group has been running for a number of years now. We have got advice, support and it has helped us feel connected. Now join women all around Australia and New Zealand for our Dentist -‘she’ dinner held in each capital city and connected digitally! Together we will share laughs, stories, learn and have a night out to let out hair down.
Join us for fun, door prizes and special goody bags along with drinks, laughs and connecting to other like minded female dental women. Clinical speakers include Michelle Heffernan and Andrea Shepperson. There will be tips to improve your communication skills and run your business better but most of all we will be together as the ‘Sisterhood of Female Dentists!’

With all the advances in endodontics, endodontic treatment and outcomes are becoming more predictable. This presentation will demonstrate useful clinical tips in endodontics, which will make their endodontic treatment easier and more successful. Learn some of the common mistakes, which occur during endodontic treatment, understand how to manage endodontic complications when they occur, and learn how to assess the potential risk factors that may complicate treatment and adversely affect the endodontic outcome.
About Dr. Michelle
Dr. Michelle Heffernan is the Head of Endodontics at the University of Sydney. She also provides surgical and non-surgical endodontic treatment for her patients in her private practice, BMA House Endodontists. Dr. Heffernan is a prominent lecturer and clinical educator. She is the current President of the Eastern Suburbs Dental Group. She has been awarded an honorary fellowship to the Pierre Fauchard Academy in recognition of her contribution to dentistry. Dr Heffernan has given numerous lectures in the USA, Australia and New Zealand. Michelle is married to Dr. Guy Shipper, who is also an endodontist. She has a 3 years old son, Oscar, and will be having another son this month!

Dr Andrea Shepperson discusses the future, and offers some strategies for staying at the forefront.
About Dr. Andrea
Dr Andrea Shepperson is one of Australasias best known dentists. She loves the future, and has a voracious appetite for new concepts in dentistry. Her experience traverses greenfield startups, private practice partnerships and corporate dentistry. She is currently the Independent Clinical Advisor to Abano Dental, practising in Auckland, New Zealand. A Digital Smile Design Instructor and Kois Center Mentor, her practice is built on inter-disciplinary dentistry with a risk-management approach to care. She is a wife, mother and long haul traveller who loves to spend time with dentistry's innovators and thinkers.
